It has been awhile since I have posted to The Peak Pages so I will be stepping it up to provide you with informative and hopefully actionable posts to help sell books and get exposure. But first, some updates:
Over the course of the last few months, we released two novels: The Wanderer of New Hope, A New Hope Valley Ghost Story by Bob Crowley and Storm Surge, A Jonie Waters Mystery by Tamara Ward. Both are available at All Booked Up, Amazon and in Kindle format. Storm Surge was also released to Nook.
In May, we released The Rusty Bucket Kids, A Behind the Scenes Look at Lincoln, Journey to 16. The book was released on May 7th, amidst the very busy Peak Fest in Apex, NC. We are working on making the book (with two different cover options) available on the Nook and via a new digital service called MagicBlox.
The First Line - It Was Cute Until was released on Amazon and will be available at All Booked Up in a couple of weeks. Congratulations to our young and talented authors in NC and VA.
Stone-Upon-Stone, released in June, by Brian Barnette of Fayetteville, NC has made its way to the launch at All Booked Up. Folks are buying through Amazon and All Booked Up. The book will soon be available on the Nook and MagicBlox.
We have one last release to finish off our 2010 list - The Night by Jay Requard. His book is in the final stages. We are running into cover "tweaks" which are taking an inordinate amount of time to fix....but, we will get there!
Welcome to our new author, Mark Thomas of Atlanta, GA. Mark is a middle school teacher and the creator of the next [kid-friendly] 'F' book. His book, is a comedic tale of Lance Chance and his troubles with gas!
We are close to signing on another children's book and another novel for 2012! Looks like another exciting year for Peak City Publishing and its authors!
